Electric Actuator Operated Screwed End Three Piece Design Ball Valve use an electric motor to rotate the ball. The electric actuator often consists of a protective housing with an internal electric motor and a reducing gear mechanism. This reduces the speed of opening and closing and reduces the risk of water hammer. Furthermore, the operating torque is increased.
